Excellent resources are also available on the website linked below.  The website was prepared to oppose a casino not in Texas but many of its list of hundreds of online materials apply to Texas and elsewhere.  Examples:  the links between gambling and addictions, mental health crises, human trafficking, embezzlement, other crime, economic decline, child neglect, spousal abuse, suicide, and money laundering, etc.  The website is available here.
